wild turkeys tearing up garden

There is flock of turkeys which is pulling up green bean, sweet corn and other seedlings in our garden. Turkey season is over now (can't shoot them) and they retreat into the woods when they see a vehicle or someone on foot. They vary in number from 10-25 and can do a lot of damage. Does anyone have any proven methods of repelling them? The garden is not fenced in, but even if it was, they can easily fly over a fence. I can't practically leave a dog at this location, so I need something that will make noise or flash to scare them. Thanks for any suggestions.

Use aluminium pie pans tie 2 together or make a scare crow out of old shirt and pants filled with hay stand it in garden turkeys are scared of a man standing out in a field.

Have you ever seen those "air tube dancers " advertisement things at car dealers or other businesses ? Do you have electricity at the site to power one? As skittish as turkeys are at the slightest motion, I believe they would work at keeping them spooked away.

Hang a couple of CDs with construction tape at each end of the garden. As they move around in a breeze or just barely move at all, any light at all reflected off them scares away most all critters.
Has worked for me for years.

If the turkeys are destroying your crops (garden), you CAN shoot them.

Doesn't anyone make a garden-sized one? Hooked up to a motion detector? Someone could make a lot of money building them.
