Expensive garden?

What people will pay for some things amazes me, my brother built this raised garden for a customer. He had a sawmill rough cut hemlock timbers for the bottom, then made treated rails. He pre fabed it at his house, took it apart than we rebuilt the 4 sides here, it took 6 yards of topsoil to fill it.

I thought you were not supposed to use pressure treated lumber anywhere near a garden.

This is how the guy wanted it, he's from NYC, he may put some chicken wire on the bottom, we just did what he wanted... Ya we know better than that. Besides well even see if they plant anything in it! Lol

what's the advantage here ?? i thought the idea behind a raised garden was so you could do the gardening without bending over.....

Yes, expensive.
To keep the rabbits out you need to put wire mesh all around the railing

Nah, it's a regulation size mud wrestling pit. He needs to put plastic sheet up against the stiles to keep your pants from getting muddy. You can set your drink on the rail.
