Cow -powered water pump

Has anyone used a cow pump?
When I was a Conservation Specialist for a Soil & Water Conservation District, we cost-shared some pretty innovative alternative watering systems, including solar, wind, water rams, and of course electric pumps. But the most unique system was a cow powered pump which the cow pumps with her nose! Google cow water pumps and you will see what I mean. The system we used is at: riferam.com/pasture/

Friend uses one- works great, cows got the hang of it pretty quickly. It was a Soil Conservation Service project, too.

We'll see more and more of them, as creeks get fenced off, and water trough gets put just outside the fence with the cow pump.

Never used one myself (I don't think my nose is big enough either  ) but they are quite common here. What we call them I would translate to "muzzle pump".
