100 deg.45MPH winds today a couple weeks ago record snowfall 11/13 in.We finally got going planting and I think it will go in in record time as it is three weeks later than usual in Ia. Conditions are excellent.I would say there was less than 2% planted last Saturday and this Saturday it will be 90% done.

Tue morning here in S.W. Pa, 29 degrees and froze my covered tomato plants with bloom. Wed afternoon 84 degrees.

We were 102 yesterday (tues) here in NWIA. Whew! A lot of corn is going in the ground now. Just wrapped up my corn today with the great help of my son. Gonna plug a few beans on tomorrow but they're talking 80% chance of rain for tomorrow (thurs) night. Ran the 4650 over 156 acres spraying Treflan today and another 100 acres with the field cultivator. Gonna spray another 210 acres of Treflan tomorrow and let the rain work it in. This old guy can still put in some hours. Jim

Sunday we had fresh snow on the ground, Yesterday and Today it got very close to 80. Crazy.
