I plowed over this plot for my neighbor, he put an o2 sensor on my wife's car this winter, for payment he asked me to plow this over for him. This is a mini version of fordfarmers pics! Lol hope this doesn't offend you fordfarmer???!

It was all honey suckle 2 years ago, he mowed them down and I plowed it, tons of roots. There all gone now so plowing this green crop was easy. I don't bother discing, I drag my 1 row cultivator over it and it breaks up the soil nice, then he's gonna try a spring tooth harrow on it, I forgot to take a pic of that.

A bit dry or looks like it, but nice soil. I'm sure there will be comments on the plowing results, I get the same sometimes with my 2 bottom, whereas some green is still up, single bottom seems to get a complete roll, only in sod or root bound soils, tiller should work that down nicely. I was at the temco dealer and shop asking about cover boards or trash guards or what the heck you call them that gives the root bound or trash covered soils that extra nudge, would like them on my 101 2 bottom, if can be had.

That plow looks to have nice points on it, I saw one listed on CL in good condition, 3 bottom dearborn, but the shares were wore out, seller said it was in good shape, we know how that goes, your shares look new, and those are apparently hard to get or find.

Best time of year I still say LOL !!!!

I bought this plow from a customer 10 years ago for $200 and and a set of massy ferguson #25 disk for the same price. I broke a point when I plowed over a garden of mine for the first time, Lucky LJ hand had one to fit it, guy I bought it from only plowed in sand!!!! Lol,

Poor man's cover boards can be made from old leaf springs to get the extra nudge you desire. Just bolt them with the two bolts on the end of the moldboard as shown in picture #5. They should stick past the end by about 8".
