OT— Best way to get a bermuda only pasture/lawn

I'm going to spend a little time and money on trying to get control of the weeds in my small fruit orchard. I've just been mowing the area for a couple of years now and have some bermuda coming up but it's still mostly weeds.

I was wondering if 2,4d would be the best product and if so, do I need to be concerned with any ground contamination with my fruit trees? (peaches, plums, apricots and pomegranates).

We use <a href="http://www.dowagro.com/range/products/grazonnext.htm">GrazonNext</a> to kill the weeds in our Coastal Bermuda hay field.

It kills the broad-leaf weeds, but does not hurt any variety of grass.

24D is deadly on trees. You will have to use a contact applicator or drip app. No spraying in the orchard.

I use 'next also but sure wouldn't use it near those fruit trees or any young tree that you want to save. You need a applicator like the weed wiper if you want use chemical control on the weeds.
