Round Hay Bales and Tractor HP needed

I pulled a 5x6 with a 56 horse Deere 730 diesel the first few years I had mine,then a 706 IH on hilly ground.

We bale with a 6060 AC. Seems to have plenty of weight 9000 lb. with weights. It doesn't have a directional reverser. One would be nice, and a power shift.

Vermeer 605H and a Deere 2550 65hp 4cyl diesel... For this baler I am on the edge. This one works well, but 5-10hp less would not be enough when you get it up to 5ft or more. 70-80hp would be better, IMO.

Have done it with 55hp in a pinch, 65hp works better....., but usually 70hp or 85hp are on the baler and that is best by far.

Owners manual for my CaseIH round baler says minimum HP is 70HP. It makes my 1206IH at about 110 HP grunt every now and then.
