Real Estate web site Movoto has issued a list of the Most Redneck cities in America.
Atlanta, Georgia claims the No. 1 spot.
Kansas City - the one in Missouri, not Kansas - ranks No. 2.
Rounding out the Top 10 Most Redneck Cities in America: Oklahoma City (No. 3); Nashville; Tulsa; Fort Worth; Arlington, Texas; Sacramento, Cleveland and Mesa, Arizona.
Named the least rednecky city in America: New York.

Well, You really tripped my triger!! If us "upstate residences" had our way, there would be a BERLIN WALL betewwn NYC and the rest of the state. Just this week the Feds arrested 5 State Politiicions from the city for imbeselment charges to bribes. Our Govenor, "backdoored" the stiffest gun laws in the nation, and as of today he is trying to promote the
growth of casino gambling in UPSTATE, but the Indian Nations, here are Soverign, Via Fed. Treaties, and the state has yet to collect revinue taxes from their establishments.

Please don't confuse NYC with REDNECK upstate NY which is 85% of the state's land mass.
Us UPSTATE Rednecks are not happy, and will persue REDNECK JUSTICE.

Well lets see if I'm a redneck
1.Live in Central Florida ( not Tampa or Orlando)
2.Work for a living making Fertilizer ( the kind you put on your crops )
3.Own a some old tractors
4.Came from a family of Georgia peanut farmers and Florida orange growers
5.Drive an old Ford truck
6.Can fix just about anything you can break ( or know somebody that can)
7.own a bunch of guns
8.Believe in God
9.Will have an adult beverage on occasion ( right now seems OK)
10 At 52 years old will still take a but chewing from my mother if I have done something she didn't think I should have
11.Believe a lady is a lady until proven otherwise.
12.Believe that I have rights that should not be infringed upon.
This list can go on and on

Yep I guess I'm a redneck and I would not have it any other way

Atlanta? No way. Atlanta is 52% black, and blacks are not rednecks. Whites, who could be rednecks, are 38% of the population. And many of the whites are educated and don"t meet redneck criteria. Now go to South Georgia or North Florida, and you"d be hard pressed to find someone who isn"t a redneck.

I grew up in lower Michigan and most of my cuzzins who still live there are northern rednecks, and they"re into beer, smoking, fishing/hunting, and NASCAR. They just don"t have a southern accent. But some of them have coon dowgs.

Well I have now officially been in every one of the lower 48 states and most towns and cities of any size and I can say this with complete confidence, REDNECKS ARE EVERYWHERE. lol. No question bout that. Being a redneck has NOTHING to do with where you live and everything to do with HOW you live.

Nope no son name Dale But Dale Jr did offer me $100 back in I think 97 to be his gas man at Homestead. He came down to run the last race of the season in the old Busch series didn't have a full crew it was the first year he ran a few races in that series. I was turning wrenches for another team came by looking for some help said dad wouldn't send anybody down with him. I told him I would do it for$200 he said didn't have that much on him he found somebody else. Kinda funny when I look back on it now

Being a redneck is a state of mind--not an address. Michigan is a good example, there's Wayne, Oakland, & Macomb counties--and the rest of us and as different as daylight and dark. Me, I'm on the redneck side and dang happy about it.

What do you mean blacks can't be rednecks? I've known some folks that meet every definition of redneck there is. Well, unless you're implying redneck is someone that likes to dress up in bed sheets and burn religious symbols. But to my way of thinkin', a redneck is a hard workin' hard playin' person that don't cotton to what society thinks. Treat a reneck fair and he'll treat you fair-regardless of race.

Loren, trying to explain to anyone who hasn't been here that all of NY is not NYC is a constant struggle. And I agree, cut off the state just north of Albany and make that cess pool to the south the 51st State or a Federal District.
