MM 670 Hydraulic PSI

I have a Older MM 670 tractor and a older Jet Star 2 tractor. I recently bought a Krone 4 basket tedder that has 3 hydraulic cylinders( 2 raise the outside rotors and the third adjust the tilt angle of the tedder). They all operate off of one hose. Neither one of these tractors will operate the third cyclinder. My neighbors new John Deere 5075E runs it perfect. Any clues to why mine want run the 3rd cylinder? Fluid and filters are serviced and good in both machines, and they operate other hydraulic implements ok. The only other problem that i have is with a disc mower. The MM 670 will raise the disc mower up 80% of the way but then it stops.

It is just a guess, but maybe the tractors don't have a big enough hydraulic resivour, perhaps the neighbors tractor holds more oil!

Are the cyls 2 way or one way? If oneway there is not enough oil to fill all the cyls. If 2 way the oil out of rod end should be enough to fully extend all cyls. Think 670s have simalar hyd system as a M5 or 5 Star and they only have about 2 gal capasity.

Well I foung out that the third cylinder had a nitrogen charged canister/resevoir on it to let it "act" like a double acting cylinder. Something inside it was messsed up, The seal or film has busted and mixed the nitrogen with the fluid. I'm making a hose to put there instead, problem solved I think. Now I just gotta get it done before lunchtime so I can use it!
