Here's a few nice pictures.

I know a couple of them may be a rerun. But they're worth looking at again...

Hope you enjoy them!

I just love these old pics. I always enjoy them even tho I don't always comment. Please keep them coming and thanks a lot for the effort.

Those are great photos, Now days we get tired riding on an air seat for half a day. I bet those horse in photo 2 got tired looking at all those A$$es all day long. Ha Ha

i was so happy the day one of the mules bit my grandfather on the azz when he was hooking them up...next mornin we loaded mules in back of his F2 and he took off...that evening he came back with a 9N strapped on the back of the truck...changed everything on the farm to the better.

Great pics! Those were the days when you could hear your neighbor hollering at you from 1/2 a mile away. You ate good, slept good, and died at 61.

William Faulkner once said “A mule will labor ten years willingly and patiently for you, for the privilege of kicking you once.”

When I think of how farming has changed in my lifetime (81 yrs) it is amazing. I started with horses and milking cows in the morning and plowing 60 acres with a two horse plow. Loved it when we got to the stone boat so I could ride instead of walk. Then in 1939 we got a tractor. Halleluja, and then another. Great day. Last month Addie Bender died at 99 . They were farmers and tractor dealers for Farmall in Copley, Ohio. When the second WW was over he took me along to the IH show in Chicago. I really miss those days on the farm.

I guess that's how we got horsepower. Sure glad we can drive it in the barn and turn the key off or shut off the fuel when finished in today's environment. Phew.
