Got to plant some oats today. Disced with the 2394 and 21' IH disc.

Got to use my little 400 for some finnish work with a 14' disc and 3 section drag.

Great pics Jon. Looks drier up your way. Corn planters rolling my way here last 2 days South of you a couple of hours.

Just planted a field last week, my S77 is narrow front, and my
IHC drill is on rubber wheels. Otherwise same picture! Must be
a common MN thing. ;)

I planted 4 acres of alfalfa and oats yesterday too. Made the first pass with the field cultivator and Massey 1100 on Sunday to break up the plowing. Spread manure on the field for 5 hours on Monday afternoon with the Farmall M, then took yesterday off work to get it done before rain tonight. One pass across with the field cultivator behind the Massey 1100, then two passes with the disc and 1100, then harrow with the Farmall M. Drilled & seeded with the Farmall H and Dempster drill, then harrowed again with the M. Finished right at about dark. Couldn't have cut it any closer on the amount of seed I bought. Found out about the quality of my plowing from last Fall. Had a few high and low spots in the field, but the extra cultivator and disc passes across the furrow direction helped to smooth it a bit.
