A guy is going to pay me with an farm service agency check. I have never seen one, what to look for to make sure its real? Thanks, Jim

Mine is direct deposit only. Don't know if the write checks for anything anymore or not.

The payments I get from FSA are direct deposit only, no checks, and they are from the USDA. I would be carefull.

Tell him to cash it and hand you the money. Why is he carrying it around anyway? Does he live nearby? Do you know him?

If he has an operating loan it should be him signing and fsa co-signing, good as gold...

Yup it is stamped and cosigned. It turned out that we know him and where hes at so I should be good. Thanks for all the replies I knew I could get the answer here. Jim

I didn't think the FSA gave out paper checks for anything. It's all direct deposit, unless there's something I'm not aware of. Jim
