new born calf??

had a cow drop a little bull sat, looks good and healthy and was sucking, so i left it alone.
sunday i checked on them, and the calf was breathing hard and quick. dont have a runny nose
of fever, just breathing harder than normal.
today looks like it may be doing a little better.
any idea what this could be?

give it some la 200 now ,, also ,, there is a vitamin paste comes in a syringe ,squeezed into mouth and ingested ,never used this ,, but a friend of mine, who runs 300 pairs of cows swears by it ,,, hope others chime in,wishtiknew about the syringe earlier ,.neighbor lost a calf that was huffin and puffin ,,big healthylookin ,, but had no energy ,, lasted 4 dayson milk replacer ..

While out doing estimates Saturday, traveling next to a long field near Almond, NY, I seen a cow delivering a calf out in the middle of the field. Not very often anyone sees that while traveling down the highway.
