After church my son came over and we finished (almost) putting up a new paddock for new boarders. A horse with laminitis and two ponies.
They should arrive some time next week after getting coggins and health certificates.
I put in most of the posts yesterday and hung the gate. There is about 5 years worth of horse poop in the piles and that will go on the hayfield right after the first cutting...I just bought a bigger spreader!

Don't know where you are in NE IL. We were in Elgin, my daughter graduated from Judson university Saturday and we helped her move to Carol Stream Sat. and Sunday.
I 90 was all torn up between Rockford and Elgin so we came home on rt 64 to Oregon and then North. I think around St. Charles there was a nice looking big horse farm on both sides of the road, lots of wooden fence.

Very nice! Our 13 year old daughter would love to help you care for those horses. She adores them from afar since we don't have one.
