This is the rye I planted last fall in one of the garden patches. I plowed the patch and disked it,then broadcasted the rye seed by hand, then lightly harrowed the patch.I am going to plow it under. The two strips in the background are planted with Yukon gold potatoes and onion sets.

larry@stines,

New camera takes great photos. It is sure beautiful there.

We still have a lot of snow left from the big storm 3 days ago.

Lary where in New Jersey are you located?
When I wuz driving truck I went into Vineland quiet often at the Green Giant plant, and the Progresso plant, I think it was owned by Pillsbury Co. at the time.
On highway 40 at Sharpstown there wuz a rodeo place. Is it still there?
This is back in the 1980's

That looks great! Too bad it looks like my yard after all the rain we've had for two weeks.
Guess I'll be forced to get the bush hog out if it stops raining long enough.

larry@stines,

Yep... once bitten by the shutter-bug, you cannot get rid of the virus. Like you, if we are somewhere and I forgot my camera - I "see" pictures all around me.

Soon a gal friend and I are taking my 13 year old daughter and her 12 year old grandson out onto some DNR lands and we will all be "clicking-away". Can't wait.
