i have a real hard time seeing snow on the ground and buds on the trees and completely green grass to compute in my head. seems like the year that winter just wont end

we have close to 200 tulips all around our house and it sure was strange to see the snow on them

Too bad a show that so many people put their heart and soul into is run over by the weather. I know you've had rain before but that's easier to handle. All long standing shows have a plan set in place to get them through a rainy spell but there's usually no need for a "Plan B" in case it snows on a show in May in the middle of Iowa. Jim

Jim ,
I feel Sorry for all the food stands .. and the ones that worked all year to get things done ... like you said rain can be handled .. but snow ... will it never happen before so no big plans ... I think they went into plan B for rain ....
It's over for this year ........... wait till next year ...

A lot of the food supplies can't be returned to the supplier. I guess that's what makes putting on a show interesting. Jim

Dutchman,

Great photos. Only time I have ever seen a club display line-up covered with snow. :)

We got 15-18 inches in MN too. Piles of white stuff everywhere!

Hi Mark, Nice pictures I'm glad we're getting rain next week. I have my garden planted. Tomatoes, pepper plants and I planted a few yellow bush beans. They were left over from last year. I had the flu again about 2 weeks ago. I got a flu shot last Sept. Couldn't get far from the commode. Hal
