The Springfield KY3 said there was 3 record broken today. Coldest high the lowest low and the most snow fall for this day in May. I didn't even uncover my garden plants today. I figured they would be better off if I left them covered. At least the hay season should be good this year
 
Ya where I am at which you know we have not gotten below freezing but real close. The thermometer has sat just above the 32 mark all day. It has been raining or sleeting here all day today and they are saying it will be pretty much like this for 2 or 3 more days
 
We put in 23 acres of alfalfa and CRP switchgrass Sunday, I am actually OK with our slow drizzle.
 
I just drove from Kansas City to the farm (east of Columbia) and ran into pretty good accumulations of snow from Oak Grove to the US 65 interchange. No snow here at the farm just a slow rain. Lots of water on my fields ... gonna be interesting getting the milo in the bottom ground if we don't get a 2 week dry spell.

Ya I was in Columbia on Wednesday and ran the AC all the way there and back. But just a little bit ago when I put up the birds had snow on my jacket. I also put the glass back on my 2 cold frames just in case
 
That's something old, here in eastern NY were around 70? What strange weather, it's really dry here too! Fire up your wood stove and stay warm! Lol.
 
Do not have a wood stove in the house. Wish I did at times but then I can not run a chain saw any more so getting fire wood would be a problem unless I set up one of the 3 buzz saws I have
