1940 International TD6 Crawler

My father used and parked this crawler many years ago. He has since passed and it needs to get out of the yard. I love old history; but have neither the knowledge or the time to convert this pile of metal back into something cool. Sad, but it is a pile of metal that most likely needs to be hauled away as scrap. However, I see people are looking for parts always and so before it gets hauled off I should see if there is any interest. Maybe it's of value to someone. The tracks are still on it. The dozer blade is there also. It ran and then it got parked. No parts have been stripped off. If it was there when he parked it; it still is (except for the seat which has rotted away). :( Serial No. TDBK 1466

Before you part and scrap it, why not make a run on selling it? Find out what it weighs and get a figure from the scrapper on value, then get some pics and advertise on Craigslist, and here, and maybe local paper. You might be surprised at the interest- as they say, "They're not making those anymore."

Thank you for the input. I will run out to the farm and get a few pics. It's just really sad to do so. Maybe some of you who are too far away to have a vested interest could tell me what to ask. I've seen some of the parts for ridiculous amounts.
