Got a question about the computer-controlled tag on your truck. Will that computer let you adjust the weight on the steers, or is it just what it is? I've had a lot of ride issues that were fixed by moving the 5th wheel (and weight on the steers) as the tires wore, or when new tires went on.

It's not adjustable by me, you can make computer changes that will change it tho. You can make a lot of different changes there, I was looking through that part when I had it in the shop a couple of weeks ago. I don't see a need yet but it's there if I do.

conventional wisdom is that the more weight on the steers the better the ride. Not necessarily. Found tire wear makes a big difference. Running lighter on worn steers with newer drives seems to make a huge difference in ride, and sometimes can even fix a problem with the truck pulling to one side or the other. Seems like the nose rides too low, lets the rear axle suspension droop too far, and throws out the drive alignment.
