Aircraft Tires

Anybody know how to cross match aircraft tires? I
currently have 7.50-15 tri ribs on the front of
my Farmall 400. Have found locally for sale some
30x8.8-15 aircraft tires. From what I can find, I
think they may be about 3/4" wider and about the
same height but I"m not sure...can anyone shed
some light?
Also, do you need special rims for these or will
my standard 15" implement rims work? Are these
typically tubeless or tube type? Just trying to
gather some information before hand.

Tractor has a loader on it and current tires are
good at best and only 6ply so thought these
aircraft tires might be a good upgrade.

What I have run into on aircraft tires on 16 in rims is installing the tires on the rim unless you have a split rim , a hard time streching the tire over the rim. Aircraft tires I use on front of my massey 231 - tires I could get to work is 32x8 8R 16 made by goodyear - the tires are tubeless, you can use a tube if rim will not hold air. Michelin aircraft tires are the best to strech over the rim. All others have steel cable in the bead and need to be cut down. A company near Houston cuts off the bead to use on on farm equiment. Small Aircraft some tires use tube.

Very hard to mount and remove. Split rims are best but I've used implement rims. Tires where free... wouldn't do it again if I had to pay for the tires. Had to cut them off when they finally started leaking to to age and cracking but that for 10+ years of use.

Give Gensco (noflats.com) a call. They have all the answers. Get the tires alraedy mounted on their rims. Best tires you can buy.
