At 75 in the 30's the man would've been born likely in the 1860s. I find it interesting how history is really not that far behind us.
Recently my 5th grade son was studying the American Revolution in school. He was talking about how long ago that was (interested in histroy but just couldn't really comprehend 240 years). He has met my grandfather (his great, born in 1925). I explained to him that if my great grandfather had met his great granfather as a boy etc. etc. we were only 4 great granfather's away from the revolution.

great picture. I still use my father in laws F-12 for cultivating my deer plots. Does a better job then my B john Deere and more fun to drive.

I spent part of a summer cultivating corn for a neighbor with his F-12. It was on rubber, single front wheel, and still had the original diamond tread rear tires in 1960. After a couple of weeks I have to say that I liked Dad's John Deere H a whole lot better, but the old F-12 ran like a sewing machine and always started on the second or third pull.
