Steve Martin actually created an award for the best banjo player. I never knew this. I guess this happened in 2010. I think it is great. There are many people with amazing talents that never get much recognition. For some one that is an "A" list person to promote some of the lesser known talents is rare and wonderful. I have a much different impression of Steve Martin than I had before. He sure seems like a CLASS act.

Ive always enjoyed banjo. It takes alot of talent. I saw Danny Barnes play with the Robert Earl Keen band a few years ago. Amazing talent.

Pete are conservation people the only ones that can be a class act??? I don't think so. I may disagree with Steve Martin on his politics but he is doing good work too. Most liberals do not do anything but talk so he is different than most of them. We need all of the people with big hearts that actually do something not just talk!!!!

He also sings about religion or the lack there of. Think he is promoting atheism??? I don't think so.

What a waste of time fooling with a banjo.Now get some farming done this Summer cause its only 5 months until FOOTBALL season.(LOL)We all have our vices we waste time on.Do you still have that pair of glasses that Steve Martin invented?
