new monitor really old sensors

a dicky john PM100 monitor and seed sensors in a 40? year old allis74 plate planter should they be compatible? can the sensors be tested?retrofit possible? agco doesn't have replacements

thanks guys it seems the sensors are not too tuff to test they have visible light beam i had one good one one with bad receiver one with bad emmiter good grief a neighbor will let me "rape" an old four row for more sound ones what a tightwad i am !!
