I went out to the garden last night and saw that the asparagus are up and coming. There were about 8 spears up about 6-8 inches with many just poking thru the ground. This 78 degree temperatures this week sure made it grow.

The apricot tree is done blooming and tomorrow the temperature is supposed to get down to 36. Hope that doesn't hurt the apricots.

Wife picked asparagus Monday. My peach and pear trees are blooming. Saturday I got the ground work good enough to plant peas, lettuce, & spinach. Planted some trees yesterday and there is moisture 2 feet down

34deg. and rain, 65 mi west of Ft.Worth Tx. Apricots and Peaches bit the dust last freeze when it got down to 25deg. Won't have to worry about the coons getting the fruit this year.
