Golf cart update.

Thanks for the suggestions on what I should expect to pay for the cart. I took it home for $650. EZ-GO electric older style with charger. If I don't like it I can probably get my money back out of it or close to it. Jim

And for the rest of us trying to dodge all those suckers at shows- maybe not so priceless! Just please mind you manners in a crowd- I've seen some "I'm bigger than you" attitudes that are troubling.

I don"t think you need to worry about "fixerupper" being that kind of person in a golf cart. Way too nice of a guy for that.

Popper, thanks for the compliment. We both know about renegade golf cart users at our show.LOL

504, thanks for the link. I have it home now and it does drive real smooth. However, there is one relay that has a loose lug and it looks like it's been plenty hot. I'm gonna try to get one on line before I go to a dealer. Jim

Yeah I saw you with your hand up LOL. Glad you got
it.

I took home the grapple I wanted for $1300. Bout
$300 more than I was planning on but it will work
and looks to be well built.

If its nice looking and batts okay, you did good. I'd buy ten of em at that price. Maybe its a regional or seasonal thing but that sounds like a $1,100 unit in my area.

Jim,
6 6v batteires are worth $650. My mom had an earily 70's EZ. Brother-in-law fixed it up. Make the back look like a wooded turck bed. Had the seats recovered. Painted it yellow. Made logo's to look like his service trucks. Removed the topper. Real sharp. The old EZ's are easy to work on.
