Nothing new about Chev and Toyota being in the same car. A number of years ago the Chev Nova had the Toyota engines and transmission in them

Actually those Novas were Toyota Corolla with Chevy badges. The body parts will also interchange between the two.

They were built on the same assembly line here in Fremont CA at the NUMMI plant. Tesla took over the plant and are building electric cars there now.

Might be a driveable car then.
I've owned two, a 63 and a 66. Neither one was truly a driveable car.
More of a show piece with some horsepower and no creature comforts.
Does make me wonder how the import tariffs would work though.
Does Government Motors tax themselves?

The Geo"s were re-badged Toyota and Suzuki"s. And the Duramax is an Isuzu engine.

...and the Pontiac Vibe is a re-badged Toyota Matrix. Daughter bought the Matrix from Toyota dealer cheaper than same Vibe from Pontiac.

That's funny... love Toyota - but still funny.

We have had two Toyota pickups and both were great... husband drove them to death.

I have a Geo with a Toyota drive train and it is a great little car.
