update on the 340 Chapparral snowmobile engine

I had stripped the engine down and put it in a bucket of ATF to soak for two weeks. I drove the cylinders off with a hammer and a block of wood.One of the top rings was partially stuck. The top end looks great.
Someone stated that water goes through the carb and into the crankcase and so I would need to split the case. Totally on the money with that one. The rods are stuck to the crank.

I have a NOS 292 (twin) Chapparral engine if you"re interested. It doesn"t have the carb or exhaust, but everything else is there, including all the shrouding. Not a scratch or dent. Email if you"re interested
