Just talked to my nephew in ND; he has 83 calves on the ground and about 32 cows left to calve. They still have deep snow so it will be a late and wet spring there.

I kinda miss the days when I worked on a big thoroughbred horse farm, we would have between 110 to 120 foals every spring. I got to work there one last winter in 2008, now the place closed, and the managers moved to a farm in Saratoga, prolly 40 miles from me, vs 7 miles at the old farm, I can't drive that far for the pay! Lol
