Really? some people need to get out more

saw this add on a local buy/sell website and it made me shake my head

"Hi, we are looking to buy 1 cow for infinite milks, since we buy so much from convenience stores and we thought this would be a better value for money approach. Also we realise that once the milk runs out we will have infinite steaks."

Edit: forgot to mention, the address they posted shows to be almost downtown of a city of over 350,000 people

Must be city folks. From some peoples point of view they think they get free outputs without any inputs...... (feed, housing, everything else that goes into livestock). Maybe they even have a spare bedroom for it in their apartment.

These are the ones you see on "Animal Cops" shows when they reallize there's work involved and a little money too , they just let them starve till they have to eat their own crap. These people make one sick. I can see their original plan and the "why" of it but why can't they admit they were wrong and give the animal away when they can't or won't take care of it? Some cold people in this world.

You can buy most anything in the store cheaper than you can raise it yourself.
The advantages of home grown (as most everyone knows) is it is fresh and has better taste.

Wisconsin cows make the best milk,, I"ve been around and everytime I go up there I stay at the same hotel and they have one of those big stainless steel pull lever milk dispensers, and I swear that is the best milk I"ve ever had. Hopefully these guys get a good WI cow

Some fun if someone sells them a real good kicker....The milk in the store might just start to look cheap and the cereal in the bowl will look dry!

Marilyn used to eat milk cow (holstein) steaks when she was a kid. She hasn't liked steak since then and that was over 40 years ago. She grew up helping milk 100 cows before and after school. Nuff said. Jim

how much is a gallon of milk? about $5 from a convenience store? How much is a bale of alfalfa? Isn't it about $5 or $6?

When they see cow diarrhea slop down a cow udder and drip into the bucket, do you think they will ever drink milk again?

I say we take up a collection and buy them a cow for free, as long as they will post daily videos of life with a dairy cow on youtube.

We don't generally use any milk with poop in it. Neither do any of the dairy men I know. Maybe you do things different.....

If that ad is copied word for word, it's some sort of scam.

That is definitely written by someone who isn't well-trained in English.

No natural English-speaking person would use the word "infinite" that much.

Yea those ads show cows in green hilly pastures. I have been out to california and never saw a green pasture or a milk cow roaming the hillsides.

You mean I can't have my cow and eat it too?

The ad or the story was probably just made up as a joke to jack up some folks, and it worked.

Don't have a milking machine for just one cow? Hook it up to the old Electrolux vacuum cleaner. Hee Hee, LOL

The thing a lot of you guys are missing is that a heck of a lot of people who live in a city and never been out of it don't have any idea about food. They really think it comes from the store. As far as the language used, ever watch an interview with a pro athlete? Some talk as if they are from a 3rd world country. Now think about it. Most if not all have attended college! Heck I knew a guy in the Army who wasn't the smartest guy I knew. He was always trying to use big words when he talked because he thought it made him look smarter. Bunch of us use to really get a kick out of him. He retired with 20 years as an E7. Wasn't any smarter than when I met him when we were both E3s but he sure was good at sucking up.

I wouldn't either, but it doesn't take long, hand milking cows, to have that happen. I'd guess it would happen once and that would be the end of the "infinite milk."

Hi
Maybe they are one of those not too smart people with an acreage. That moved from the city, that has bought a fantastic tractor for a high price from a dealer, Thats a pile of junk. And are on here trying to find out how to fix it, with no clue about mechanics too!.
Maybe we should keep quiet on this as we might offend them with this topic. L.O.L
Regards Robert
