Ever hear of Pat Tillman? List of players killed during war times in link. Others that come to mind are Roger Starbauch who was a Navel Academy graduate and served in Viet Nam. Chad Hennings flew A-10 Thunderbolts during Desert Storm. These are just a couple of former Cowboy players that served their country. I'm sure there are a lot more of them. |

| Buffalo's Bob Kalsu left the league after a year to finish up his army commitment (around 1969) and died over in Vietnam in 1970. I don't know where the Bills are heading but starting over with new coaches most likely means being out of the playoffs. It's unbearable on their message board with the rampant hysteria. They should find more things to do like restoring tractors! |
