Gas leaks On Ford 661

I have got a Ford 661 that has two gas leaks. First I have got a drip coming from the shut off valve when it is open. Second I have a leak from the gas line where it is connected to the fuel bowl. Anybody have those problems and if so how did you fix? Like to hear from someone. Thanks.

Remove the packing nut on the shut-off and unscrew the valve. Twist a piece of teflon tape into a rope and pack it into the nut around the valve stem. Fill it up good. Reassemble the valve and tighten the packing nut until the valve stem can be operated with moderate effort. Not sure what fitting is on the carb on a 661, but if it is a compression fitting, you can cut the sleeve off the end of the line and install a new one. If it is a flare fitting, check the flare on the end of the line for a split. Less often, the male part of the fitting is scratched or deformed.

As already said go down and ask in the ford forum. As for the leak at the bowl if like my 841 there are 2 copper washers that you need to replace on the banjo bolt. The valve that is a common problem and the packing on some can be replaced to fix that
