This is probably one of the best places to buy tyres but not for you... as it is in England! In the arable areas a lot of wheel changing happens and this yard is one of the best for wheel and tyre sizes.

Call Charm Tractor in Charm, Ohio. He can tell you where in Ohio to get them. He usually recommends Millersburg Tire in Millersburg Ohio. He deals mostly in Old tractors

I wish we lived closer. I put a new set of 4.00-15 on my Farmall. I got a deal on them on a tractor show trip but realized when I got home they were a size too small. I put them on anyway and still kick myself in the butt every time I look at them. But they get the job done ok.

Jim that was a common size that I used to stock, go to your local Firestone or Goodyear or Titan farm tire store. They should have the tires, as posted before what are the rims for?

What are the rims for? That sounds like a small tractor, possibly an H Deere and that would take a more special rim than say a wagon or piece of machinery would and what you would find at the tire dealers are just a jenerac type wheel if they would even be able to get your size and that is doutfull considering the offset and placement of valve stem and taper of lug bolt holes, rim revercable or not, so I would say find a tractor parts yard and start looking there as even the dealer probably could not get the correct wheel. The other answers are good for a wider and newer tractor rim but not for one that small. The early B John Deere even has a wider wheel on them than a 3" and then there are 2 styles of them and the first style will not interchange with the second but the second will with the first style.

Give your local tire store a try. Sometimes they can be the same price as Ebay without all of the trouble. This was my experience.
Stay away from places that sell car tires, these people typically work on commission, go to a truck/farm tractor tire store.

Mark might be on to something, I bought a new, old stock 4.00 X 15 tire from an old ford dealer, for $25.00, about a month ago. Tough sh!t charlie doesn't stock them, 5.00 X 15's were $119, last time I looked! For rims, try Shoup website, just for a comparison price.

Jim, in my case, the Deere guy is a couple or few miles north of me in Union, MI. I'm sure that he isn't the cheapest, but he did set me up with a couple of new rear wheels and tires for my 4520 a few years ago. I don't recall what I paid him, but recall that it wasn't out of line or take me. These days, dealers are hungry like the rest of us and will deal. At least my guy does. For my Massey or little Allis, I can still go through him for parts, and do on some, but mostly a bone yard about 10 miles south of me if it involves metal. They usually can set me up, and I could buy entire tractors from them. Had I been interested or needed a Ford 9600 or 8600 a couple of years ago, or a wide variety of others, Myers in Wakarusa, IN could have set me up, even delivered.

I guess my point is, your nearest tractor dealer or bone yard on the wheels, and tractor or AG tire dealer on the tires.

Good luck Sir.

Mark
