Eska farmall pedal tractor help

Howdy.
Was wondering if anyone had tips for splitting an Eska Farmall small H pedal tractor from 1949. I'm restoring one for a friend and need to get it apart. I'm having trouble with the pedal crank and rear axle. when I try to get one out the other binds up and keeps it from going. Unfortunately, unlike the new ones, the pedal crank is run through a plain old hole instead of a slot that goes to the bottom of the tractor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. God bless.

Its been a while since I've done one but I think I took the rear axle housings off and the back axle out and that should give you enough room to get the pedal crank out.

Howdy Irv,

That was the plan but unfortunately the main case (with housings off) just has axle-size holes and the axle is too long to wiggle it out with halves pulled apart. Just about 6" or so. I am thinking about grinding the weld off the axle sprocket and then re-welding when I put the tractor back together. It just appears to be spot welded to the axle. Thanks for the help though. God bless.
