Mike did you call the company, or the dealer. Ours wouldn't hook up to the sat a few years ago. I called the company and they were very helpful. Bought it used from a neighbor. I sent it in, and they checked it out, it was the wiring harness. It couldn't recognize it. They re-programmed it for no charge. That was 3 yrs ago. I'm all messed up that was the Trimble. But we have a outback also, Cam bought it from the internet, it has worked fine for 2 yrs now. But it isn't very fancy, or I can,t figure it out. I can,t get it to save any information. Vic

Hi
My dad doubled the value of our Belarus tractor 3 years ago he put an outback slite in it. he uses it for fertilizer/ spray application, and seeding. we have had no problems with it, it's not technical and Neither is he, Im sure he doesn't use half the functions it can do.
I was laughing the day he spread our town field, He finished spreading the field, forgot to turn the unit off drove out to the road, headed to town. Dropped the spreader off. Then came back down past the field to home.
He said the nearer he got to the field and the end of the last pass the more excited the GPS got. It started to go nuts telling him how far till the turn for the next pass. of course he was on the road and continued past. the thing was going even more nuts when he went past what it thought was the next run L.O.L. I guess technology has come a long way in the last few years and the price has dropped no end. I think this unit cost $800 when he got it.
Regards Robert

Boss has outback in his sprayer tractor with hydraulic autosteer. Several years old and works great. Never used a light bar, wouldn't think I could stare at those little lights all day.

I like the Trimble set-up better, other than the motor hanging on the steering column. We also have a JD system, and if you go more then 1/2 way around a pivot on the turn row, it will draw a straight line back to where you started. Luckily that planter has markers on it.
