Not a Cup car by any means. 258 CID AMC in a Chevelle chassis Horne bodyt that I raced in about 84. Bobby Allison was my hero. Went Buick shortly after

I met Bobby Allison several times in my racing activities.
In those days, he had a crew haul a dirt track car around the country to various special events. He flew his own airplane and arrived at the track in time to drive.
First time I met him was at a big special show we were running in at the track at Doniphan, Nebraska. During the pit meeting, I glanced at a guy in a dirty T shirt standing next to me and realized it was Bobby Allison.
It was too bad that both of his sons were killed.
