This will be the first time since 1962 that I don't have to change a bunch of clocks at the plant. I retired January 11th.

why cant they just leave this time alone, just because the big shots want to go golfing after work. just makes me get up earlier and go to sleep later, also moved it into march which is more of a pain in the ask.

I heard on the radio Friday morning going to work.
That day light savings time cost the U.S. $434 million dollars every spring and every fall.
Due to business operating expenses , stress on the human bodies and heart attacks.
So why from the financial point of view only do we still do it? I understand why day light saving was started , But there is so much light pollution now days its never really dark.

Being the maintenace guy at the local school I have grown to dread this time of year. Every classroom has a clock high on the wall. High enough so the kids won't mess with it. Also means that I hafta lug a 6 ft step ladder to each and every one of the 29 classrooms. But, its way better than shoveling snow!
