Jon,

Was that on 40 or 95 , looks more like 95.

You were in my back yard today , almost.

I'm about 18 miles north of aberdeen.

HEY!!! Don't talk like that about my wife's new friend! LOL She collects them so if I see one I get it for her. This one sings "(your love has lifted me)Higher and Higher" and it's head goes up and down. LOL.

Was on US. 40 south of Aberdeen. I would have asked if you had time for coffee but I was on too tight of scedual til tonight.

Preparing for martial law? Odd to see them driving it on the road, never seen that except in parades

That's something you don't see everyday. Check out stolen tank in san diego. This guy was on the road also, but no one could stop him. He was running over everything in sight. Stan

Back in the early 1970's, a guy in Los Angeles had an M-1 tank with the tracks removed, ran it on wheels, had it licensed for the highway, plate read "US TANK". Saw it one day on the Golden State Freeway on my way home from work. California Highway Patrol trooper saw it too and pulled in behind him and flipped on his overhead lights. Tank operator turned the turret around and lowered the cannon barrel so that the muzzle was right in front of the troopers windshield. Trooper slammed on his brakes, nearly causing an accident. Bet that trooper had to change his shorts.

Wrong camo for the area,

BTW--just takin a shortcut during training, please don't tell my CO

I'm retired from APG. Went there after high school in 1951. I was drafted in 1953 during the Korean War. I was rehired in 1955. We tested the M1A1 tank back in the 1970's along with the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The Bradley had a lot of transmission problems. They should used Allison transmissions. Hal

Yeah, don"t laugh. I have noticed a marked increase of military traffic on the highway the last few days. Could be just coincidence. I don"t know.

It would be fun to find out. I was thinking- "that would look neat with a 3 point hitch and a mounted plow hanging on the back going down the road"...

Have geo call me if ya stop in- we can meet up somewheres. George will buy... They run those things on the road all the time to and from APG to a test track north of Churchville, about ten miles. Not enuf hills at APG. Dang things feel like an earthquake when they pass....
