The sled with the milk cans was used to haul milk to the coal miners in the valley. Milking was done at 2am so the milk could be at the miners homes for breakfast.

The bear finally gave up after I put up the elec. fence. Came across fresh bear tracks in the snow last week.

Found some old pictures of my grandpa's farm while cleaning out Dad's house. Everything is gone now--cabin, barns, workshop, etc. Old photos keep a past life alive.
