Does anyone remember Carter Tru-Scale toys?
Made during 50s and 60s.

back in 68 or so my Mom found a store that was going out of business and purchased practically one of every sort of Tru Scale toy they had. Every Christmas and Birthday for the next several years I got a piece of machinery.
For the most part I farmed with them till they wore right out. But I have a couple of pieces around.

Spent some time looking at a large collection of them in Dyersville many years back.

They were really excellent toys.

A bunch of these that I have came from one old lady. She had them for the grand kids and great grand kids. Never let them take them outside. They had to play with them upstairs in the house.

Ya,she was an old neighbor woman. I traded her some new stuff even though she said she didn't want them. I told her the kids needed something to play with when they came to visit. She scoffed and said they never came to see her. She'd seen my collection when we'd have her over for supper and she wanted me to have them.
