Marilyn's sis cancer post re-visited

I don't know if you remember the first post, but it was about Marilyn's sister having a cancerous lump the mammogram didn't find. She had a special kind of MRI friday and the results were not favorable for her. She will have a double mastectomy in a week. The doc said it's an agressive form of cancer but he hasn't decided exactly what variation it is yet. We are praying for her and will be there for her all the way at any expense. She's really special to Marilyn, not that everyone else isn't special, but you get the idea I'm sure. Jim
 
Hope they caught it in time. My ex-girlfriend had it and so far has been cancer free for seven years. Tell her to keep a positive attitude thru it all. May the Lord be with her.
 
Don't forget about all the alternative treatments out there, I'm not saying forget modern medicine and eat South American tree bark but there is a world of advances in natural remedies that at worst do no harm and may do some good as well as being compatible with any conventional treatments she recieves. We recently lost someone to aggressive cancer that spread throughout his body but he hung on for over 4 years surprising all of his Doctors when the initial diagnosis could not have been grimmer, he made a few lifestyle changes and took some simple supplements, the main thing was he beat the odds somewhat, stayed out of the hospital and had a real quality of life for his final years and was relatively pain free until 3 days before the end.
