Spreader,

Did you ever know a Bob Fulford who (I think)had something to do with Princeton Farms or Bill Davis, who taught Ag at Princeton High School?

Spent 2 1/2 years running around northern IN delivering groceries to wally"s-mart stores. Had an aunt and uncle who had a store out in BFE somewhere between Salem and Palmyra IN.

back in the 70s when my oldest brother was going to IU we used to go through there on the way, always stopped at Gray Bros cafeteria I think it was called, man they had good food, and great pies......, wonder if it is still there.

I was probably there one of those days - in the 70's. Was my favorite place to eat as a kid.
And yes... it's still there and going strong. Pies are still great too. It really hasn't changed much, thankfully.
I get to Mooresville a few times a year to see my sister and nieces, and drive right past Gray Bros - haven't stopped in to eat lately though, sister is always cooking dinner!

great uncle and aunt levert and alcinda ruff lived in knox. his brother howard, and howard's wife tillie lived on bass lake. i remember as a child riding up there to visit and seeing the peppermint growing. seemed odd and unfair to me that some folks got to grow candy and not corn, beans, wheat or hay.

Stan-Florida Worked at Princeton Farms 1973-1977. Fulford was manager at that time.Went to high school at Princeton belive Davis was teacher after I got out
