My daughter drove the now torn apart 7520 to school for tractor day. It's only about 15 miles one way.

Trying to post the picture again.

Thats great I cant wait for my girls to get that age so they can do the same thing. Good for her on driving it in.

That is so cool! I don't know if they ever do anything like that around here or not. I do know a couple of young men that restored tractors in shop class.

4020, where is her school?

At our middle school (grades 6,7,8) they have a hallway that's called "John Deere Lane".

We're in Highland, Il.

Unfortunately, our FFA tractor day got canceled due to snow. I'm hoping it gets rescheduled. Not sure if I'll participate as it's 35 miles one way and the H only goes about 15 MPH. Might rent a trailer and cheat most of the way. I've heard one kid say he was going to bring his John Deere to prom.

Thumbs up to her! Years ago I had a farm neighbor who got his driver's license suspended for multiple violations while in high school. For a few months he drove his Dad's 4020 to school until planting season began.

My wife was once an elementary principal at a rual school district next county over from our farm. New HS principal was not rual and thought tractor day was dangerous, so she tried to cancel it. This created quite an uproar. One student was going to spread manure on the parking lot. I knew the HS principal also and didn't like her either. I suggested he just park it if front of her car and engage the PTO :)

I drove past the high school in Oakland, NE a few months ago.

What was startling was probably 3/4 of the vehicles in the parking lot were pickup trucks.

They do it in Adams Co. Illinois... Remember, a manure spreader is one piece of equipment that the manufacturer does not stand behind!
