farm land rent in NE Ohio

Anybody know the going rate (estimate) of average farm ground in North eastern Ohio (Ashtabula county)/

farm has about 50-60 acres.

Don't know but i can tell ya this that counrty up there can be vary wet and a two wek less growing season then we have a hundred miles south.

It all depends on the fertility of it. Swampy, farmed out, untiled ground you would be hard pressed to get someone to farm for free. Good ground might get to $100 by one of the BTOs.

don't know about up there, but here we have a BTO that is advertising $225 per acre.

Local farm at the edge of town in Northwest Ohio rented on a 2 year rental for $280.00 per acres.

Don't know about over there but here in Auglaize county, Western Ohio it is at places over $400 per acre.

My brother-in-law told me last year his highest bidder gave 104 per acre,his land is in Mahoning county.
