Spent a good part of the day loading, hauling, (twenty five miles from home) and stacking some beautiful, fourth cutting, leafy Alfalfa hay in the haymow. Hard to find and "PRICEY" but worth it.

Father-in-law was at a hay auction north of Minneapolis, MN about 30 miles, and he was saying good quality squares were $8 per bale, and good large rounds with net wrap were $125 per bale.

A couple weeks ago at a sale I saw small squares go for $11 per down to $9 on some weedy stuff. Mostly city folk with a horse buying it.

Paid $5 per square bail from my guy, that is delivered out of the field and stacked in my mow. Mostly orchard grass and alfalfa. Critters might get more hungry between feedings if it goes up too much more.
