Truck about to go again.

This morning my 2003 chevy was hard to start so i guess the ignition system is going out for the 4th time in 50k miles.The 95 truck mever had a problem,but this one sucks.

You sure it's not your fuel pump acting up? Can you hear the fuel pump run momentarily when you first turn the key to the run position? You should be able to! My Chevy Blazer was doing that, took it in and had a fuel pressure test done on it and found I had a clogged filter but that also caused the fuel pump to go out. Runs great now.

Usually what I've found out being in the maintenance field for over 30 years is, if you have to do something the 3rd time there is something else wrong. Just my experience. Let us know what you find. You don't hear much about bad ignition systems now days. Unless you have a bad electrical plug some where.

No i can't hear a fuel pump running never have with this one.

the danged door chimer & bad hearing keeps me from hearing it so I have someone stand by the drivers rear tire & they have no trouble hearing it when I switch the key on but do not start the engine.

Truck about to go again.
