How about telling us how many mouths you have to feed at your place every day. Just me and two dogs here now, if you don't count the mice.

Me, two dogs, bunch of cats, 31 cattle, and a couple dozen laying hens. Give me a month and I will have 30 hogs and 75 chickens to add to the mix. I hate feeding and watering in the cold so I try to pair down before Christmas. I'd like to do more hogs but we will see how I feel when the buying happens. Seems no one does hogs anymore and there's a fair amount of folks wanting pork.

I don't dare count but there's wife and 1 daughter still at home, chickens, cattle, dogs and a host of scavengers. Had to run about 100 blackbirds out of the chicken coop during the snow storm the other day. I am careful to ignore feed/grocery bills.

2 dogs, 4 cats, 25 chickens, 2 goats. Just my wife and I here. Lots birds at the feeder, and a few deer also.

Three of us in the house, 6 sheep at the moment, 18 layers, and usually 60 or so meat birds every Spring.

And one semi-feral cat that has pretty much eliminated my rodent problem around the barn and feed shed.

Just the Wife, Myself and my old Yellow Lab "Abby". But in another week will have Wifes sister and her damn cat. Oh lucky me!!!

Just Joan and I here.
The kids still come around once in a while. (like today to use the heated shop)
I'm glad they're doing well on their own, but its nice to help them out too.

Wife, 2 boys under 2 1/2, and 2 dogs. I help on the farm once in a while, but Dad takes care of those mouths.

Right now just myself and 5 cats (2 are in the barn).....wifey is in Meeshigan for 2 weeks :)

Minks killed my pheasants. cats and owls took out the Homers, daughter married and moved, GF wanted a ring, Brittany had 2 strokes, and I poisoned the rats, SSS on the yotes, coons, and another wild feline.
So just me and the deer, turkeys, rabbits, hawks, falcons, and pheasants. As it should be.

Just me and my hound dog, Elto. And he sometimes finds a mouse in the field or a chipmunk in the woods.

100% calf crop is normal for me, I have my cows checked 6-8 weeks after taking the bulls out and cull any that did not breed, at a tax deductible $4.00 per head to palpate versus boarding a non producing cow for 7 - 9 additional months it is a no brainer.

Lol, nothing wrong with being hopeful, as we speak I have 23 fall calves on 23 mothers and 2 spring calves on the ground....I'll let ya know in 45 days.

Two large shepherds, a persian cat and just myself full-time. My 19 year old son here a few days a week. Working on clearing land for raising a herd of Boer meat goats. Coyotes, deer, rabbits and raccoons freeloading when I"m not looking.

Me, the long suffering wife, 2 dogs, 4 house cats, 2 outdoor cats, and one old horse, plus assorted wildlife critters that come through.

Myself, wife, 2 youngest kids, oldest daughter and my granddaughter, 13 dogs, I don't know how many cats-3-4?, 56 ewes and a ram, 8 goats, 2 Jerseys, 6 draft horses, 2 riding horses, some chickens, geese, rabbits, 1 bred sow.....that's all that comes to mind at the moment. There should be a litter of pigs and a calf along soon and, with luck, 100+ lambs!

My hat is off to you. Management is always my downfall.
