It has a 220 Cummins;approx.1976.Does anyone know how to remove the water pump?

The 220 pump will have a circle of bolts around it.The whole pump itself rotates on a concentric to loosen or tighten the the belts.Very easy to replace if you can get to it.

Also,when you replace the pump,make sure you replace the copper o ring.The o ring is between the water pump and the housing.After you replace the pump,snug up the bolts,install the belts,then you rotate the pump to take up the tension,then you tighten up the bolts.

be careful, the first one of those I changed, I dropped and it put a hole in the radiator. OOPS.
