We have a guy in our area that will do the same type of work from time to time. He is excellent and he charges me $20 per hour for the work he does. Whenever he does a project for me, I pay promptly in cash, and always add a tip in the total. Depending on what the project was, and the time it took to do it, at least a Jackson, usually a Grant, and on some projects a Ben Franklin is added to the total amount I pay. Others in the area can't understand why he'll work on almost anything for me, but often says no to their projects. I guess they think their payments of "I'll stop back and square up with ya sometime" will keep him happy to work on their machines.
