That is my main source of heat. I did the brick my self. Took for ever.I kind of messed up though. As I was laying the brick I poured cement between the wall and the bricks. There is no air space.The wall gets super hot, that is why I have a piece of stainless steel sheet behind the stove to keep the wall cool. I was told the heat will travel through the bricks and cement and possibly casue a fire. Not sure about that, but can't be too careful. Maybe someone knows? stan [Reply]  [No Email]

For example,when I let my kitchen stove go out, all the bluestone from the floor to the celing and about 6 or more feet wide is still warm hours after the stove has been out. [Reply]  [No Email]
