Somebody questioned the towing ability of a 2500 HD Chevy.Saw this at the sale this morning.I'm impressed.

Looks like a well balanced load. The back end of the truck isn't "squatting" like many would. I have no doubt that it will pull the load, But I do hope the trailer brakes work well. LOL
 
nice balance and looks to be legal as that trailer should have a 20,000 lb. rating. same trailer i have with my duramax. no problem to pull its the stopping going down hill that is a problem. actually these trucks are too small for that kind of load as i have experienced.
 
That looks fine to me, as long as the trailer brakes work. I used to drive in Toronto in the 80's with a Ford LN8000 tractor with a 3208 Cat set at 200 hp and a five speed transmission with a 2 speed rear axle. We pulled lots of 40000 pound loads, and if they were more than that, big deal, in Toronto there is lots of ways around every scale. They looked nowhere near as safe as that looks. That truck is longer and more powerful than that old Ford was, it just doesn't have air brakes.
